Benito’s Hat 7th Birthday Fiesta

September, London 2015 – Benito’s Hat, Burritos and Margaritas, the restaurant group dedicated to fresh, authentic Mexican food and drink, will be celebrating its 7th birthday on 1st October. To mark the occasion they will be hosting a birthday fiesta with games, prizes, Marga-‐litres and free burritos all round!
Customers who visit selected Benito’s Hat restaurants and dine in between 5pm-10pm on 1st October will be entitled to complimentary burritos. This promotion will coincide with the usual Benito’s Hat Happy Hour of 2-4-1 cocktails, which runs from 5pm-‐7pm. Customers will be seated on a first come, first served basis.

Additionally, on the night, at 7pm and again at 9pm each restaurant will strike up games of Lotería – Mexican Bingo – which is free to enter and allows customers the chance to win fun and unique prizes.

As well as celebrating seven years of delicious food and drink, the birthday fiesta will showcase the restaurant’s enhanced offerings, which now includes a tequila and rum cocktail range and an exciting evening sharing menu.

Fillings for the burritos include chipotle grilled and achiote braised chicken, super-‐slow balsamic braised pork and grilled steak. The menu also features a range of tacos and salads and a selection of sides and snacks including nachos with all the trimmings, esquites (oregano sweetcorn) and chipotle coleslaw with pomegranate seeds.

The cocktail range features six types of Margarita, Mexican beer including Modelo Especial and additional cocktails such as the Mojito, Paloma and Strawberry Daiquiri.

About Benito’s Hat

The name ‘Benito’s Hat’ was inspired by Benito Juárez, a Mexican
politician and statesman of the late 19th century. He was the only full
blooded Zapotec native to serve as President in Mexico and an inspirational leader, so it is after this amazing man and the legend of his penchant for bizarre hats, that the founders named their restaurant.

Benito’s Hat sets itself apart from the other Mexican restaurants in London with Pueblan-born executive chef Felipe Fuentes Cruz at the helm of the kitchen, bringing the very best and authentic food from Mexico to the capital.
