It’s that time of year again! Time to book your favourite restaurant for Christmas drinks and eats galore. Me:Mo’s quirky guide outlines our top two picks of how you can use social media for restaurants to hunt down a truly unmissable and alternative Christmas meal this festive season.
Firstly, pick somewhere central and easy to get to — and easy to escape those Christmas crowds! Known for its authentic Japanese cuisine and sake bar, Sakagura, is tucked away on hip Heddon Street and is celebrating Christmas and New Year in style. Known for their savvy restaurant social media, their 3-course Christmas lunch (starting from £30 per person) & dinner (£40 per person) are inspired by their brand-new izakaya style menu, inspired by the drinking houses of Japan.
Eat in the relaxed and comfortable dining space and feast on the authentic Japanese menu, whilst tagging your dishes on the restaurant’s social media.

Chino Latino, Albert Embankment
For a Christmas party with a Pan Asian twist, Chino Latino in Vauxhall can provide an evening of food within the beautiful setting of the restaurant overlooking panoramic views of the River Thames. Party-goers can choose between a Christmas Day Menu (£45 per person) or New Year’s Eve Menu (£109 per person), with dishes such as Chilean seabass smoked chipotle, Black Angus short rubs and Casterbridge beef skewers.
For a more formal affair, Chino Latino also offers a range of gorgeously designed canapes within their Executive Longue on the 12th floor, where guests have ample opportunity to upload their scrumptious treats to the restaurants social media.
