On Tuesday May 29th, SUDA (St Martin’s Courtyard, Covent Garden) hosted their first ever mango master class to celebrate Mango Month (for those who don’t know that’s June – when mangos are at their best). Me:Mo Interactive invited a small group of influential food bloggers to come along and take part in the evening – these included: Slow Food Kitchen, A Lady In London, Alex Loves, Kavey Eats, London Larder and Yin & Yang.

The master class was hosted by Kessuda Raiva, Executive Vice President of S&P Group . The guests were greeted with a wonderful array of ingredients on display and were shown how to make Yum Mamuang Pla Krob (green mango salad with crispy fish) & Kao Niew Mamuang (mango sticky rice) both of which went down a treat.

Throughout the evening the bloggers were treated to a selection of mango dishes to try, one of the standout dishes was the roasted duck (a lovely mix of heat and spice from the chilli rounded off with the sweetness from the mango and creamy coconut sauce) with the stir-fried sesame chicken in sweet and sour mango sauce coming a close second.

If you’d like to sample these dishes for yourself then the Mango Month menu is available everyday at SUDA throughout June.
