Last night the Me:Mo team headed down en mass to Trader Vic’s on Park Lane to catch the first in a monthly series of live acoustic music nights, one of the most pleasurable prospects in food and drink PR! Taking inspiration from Trader’s inimitable Island style, the Lei’d Back Sessions promises to showcase both established and up-and-coming artists and if last night is anything to go from it’s going to be a roaring success! Taking centre stage were musical collective The Island Experiment who took us on a tour of amazing talent they have among them, encompassing a foot-stomping range of songs and styles which got a packed crowd moving to every beat they lei’d down! Supported as always by the delicious range of internationally-inspired cuisine and of course a cocktail list which includes the original, often-imitated-never-beaten Trader Vic’s Mai Tai, we’ve already put our names down for the next one on 7th April.
