In celebration of National Pay It Forward Day on 28 April, Le Pain Quotidien is encouraging customers to be a part of their experiment in making London a happier place to be.

From 25 April, LPQ will spearhead its #LPQPayItForward campaign across all London stores, welcoming customers to take part in its trial performing random acts of kindness throughout the week.  LPQ Pay It Forward cards will be introduced, which can be picked up on store to buy a stranger a cup of coffee, a tartine, meal for two or even a baking class (with £5 of this being donated to FoodCycle charity) and make their day!
