Hyperbole? Hardly, it was the official launch party for Mc & Sons, a pub with a rare pedigree and even rarer quality. The first pub to be opened by the Windmill Taverns group for 10 years, this place is a labour of love and every inch a family affair. Named for the family – Ryan and Johnny Mc Elhinney and under the guiding hand of their father Jack, they have created a place which is truly personal, utterly unique and something very close to the perfect Irish boozer here in the heart of south London. Me:Mo have been working with the family in the run up to launch, providing press, social media and marketing support and the launch night was the culmination of months of work, so it was only right that it absolutely went off. To the authentic sounds of the amazing Deadly Kelly and his band, this perfectly created pub rocked as locals, family and friends welcomed Mc & Sons to the world in true Irish style. Me:Mo was on hand to welcome press and document the revels on social media but the main occupation was and could only ever be having a great night – the first of many we’re absolutely certain!
