This Easter make the most of your long Bank Holiday weekend with Hungry Donkey’s new ‘Pay By The KG’ souvlaki menu. Launched last week, on the Greek day of Tsiknopempti which is aptly known otherwise as the ‘Feast of Carnivores’, the new menu allows groups to share platters of succulent spit roasted meats served with a selection of Greek sides. Customers will choose the meat they want and how much they’d like of it, this will then be spit-roasted to order.
The meat, sourced from Hungry Donkey’s existing suppliers will include Cotswold white chicken, Blythburgh pork and west country lamb from award-winning butchers Aubrey Allen. In keeping with the Hungry Donkey ethos, all the meat comes from free-range animals.
Other new additions to the menu include Spetzofai (traditional Greek sausage stewed in a tomato sauce with red peppers, smoked paprika and Boukovo chilli), Gigantes (white runner beans baked in a tomato sauce with celery & carrots), Artichoke Fricassee and Portokalopita (orange ripple cake). There are also new options for customers with intolerances including a delicious gluten-free Moussaka and a dairy-free Rizogalo (rice pudding).

Join the Michelin starred restaurant for a week from the 15th of March for a unique ménage a trois of Spring lamb dishes.
Chris and Jeff Galvin are acknowledged masters of French cuisine, head chef Joo Won brings his spectacular Korean influences and special guest Sabrina Ghayour, author of Persiana and one of Time Out’s most influential Londoners two years in a row, adds the unique flavour of the Near East. Guests can order each dish individually or, to experience a world on just one plate, all three as an unforgettable assiette of lamb. In honour of Sabrina there will also be a unique Persian-influenced cocktail created by Galvin at Windows’ own master mixologist Boris Ivan, designed to perfectly compliment the dish based on Tanqueray gin with Roots Tentura liqueur, rose syrup lemon and pomegranate.
Lamb dishes will be included within Menu Prestige, without any supplement. To see a sample menu click here.
