Shoryu Ramen, who specialise in authentic Hakata cuisine, have done their best to out-do their restaurant marketing contemporaries by partnering with the pioneers of Japanese whiskey, The House of Suntory, to launch London’s first Japanese Highball Bar!
They’re bringing a staple of the Japanese bar scene to the UK for the first time in honour of Suntory’s newest whiskey, Toki, which has been expertly crafted to make the perfect Highball.
Located at Shoryu Soho, the bar will be open for three consecutive weekends from Thursday 7th of June offering complimentary Toki Highballs for people keen to try the latest in restaurant marketing cocktail trends and experience a taste of Japan’s famous Golden Gai bars. Each drink will perfectly mix whiskey and soda over ice hand-carved by Suntory brand ambassador, Zoran Peric, in keeping with a true Japanese bartending tradition.
The highball is the number one mixed drink in Asia and is now spreading across the world as Japanese-style drinks gain huge popularity with Western drinkers. Tipped to be the serve of the summer, the simple serve of soda and spirit is making waves across London’s thriving bar scene and now enters the mainstream with a bar dedicated to its craft. Celebrating Japanese bar culture whilst introducing Londoners interested in restaurant marketing to the next big thing in drinks, the Toki Highball Bar is sure to be the must-visit destination in the capital, courtesy of the world-famous House of Suntory and Toki whiskey.
The bar will be open on a first-come first-served basis for restaurant marketing lovers on Thursday, Friday and Saturdays for three weeks between 16:00 and 22:00 every day.
If enjoying a Toki Highball works up an appetite then Shoryu is also offering a 15% discount on noodles and Toki Highballs, allowing guests to further immerse themselves in all things Japanese.
