Last night saw the re-launch of the latest member of the Geronimo Inns family; The Bull’s Head, in Barnes. Together with an open bar and canapés on tap, it was no surprise it was a squeeze getting through the door. With press, music bods and locals all in attendance of 300+, Me:Mo’s hard work to fill the place paid off. Midst the masses were faces from The Times, Observer, BBC Good Food, Propel and Absolutely Richmond (to name but a few), all keen to get a glimpse of what the fuss was all about.
Champagne, Fondue and goodie bags aside though the main occasion of the evening for many was the OBE winning and Jazz singer, Claire Martin, performing in the newly reformed (and full to the brim!) Jazz room. Playing two sets to the abundance of critics, locals and music lovers left the place, inevitably, buzzing (not forgetting the dancing).
Here’s hoping Me:Mo’s efforts last night will be a reflection of what’s to come for The Bull’s Head (and yes, we do mean more goodie bags!)
