Last night, Me:Mo was lucky enough to be invited to a rather special truffle dinner at Me:Mo client and two Michelin starred restaurant, The Square. A five course menu was created by Phil Howard and his team, to celebrate the Black Truffle and dishes included Scottish Langoustine tail with parmesan gnocchi and an emulsion of potato and truffle (a Square signature dish) and short rib of aged Angus beef with truffle creamed potato and peas. All of the dishes were paired with the most delicious of wines, with our favourite being a white Rioja. Apart from the food, we were joined by the likes of Brett Graham, of The Ledbury fame, the team behind The Clove Club and journalists from the Financial Times and Restaurant magazine. It’s a tough job but someone has to do it!
