Account Executive Job Description – Media Team

ABOUT US:

Me:Mo offers a full-service marketing service to clients, and the team comprises of experienced Media and Influencer Relation professionals, Digital Marketing specialists, Social Media experts, and Content Creators.

We represent some of the most established and successful restaurant brands in the business including Pizza Pilgrims, Shiva Group and Six by Nico alongside a range of independents, such as Cavita, Kitty Fisher’s and The Good Egg, helping them with their communications strategy across all touch points in the marketing mix.

Our primary services are PR, social media management, digital marketing and local marketing, all underpinned by a strong creative division that offers in-house photography, videography and graphic design.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

With exciting new client wins and an adapting media landscape, we’re growing the Media Team and are looking for an enthusiastic Account Executive to join us. An AE in the Media Team at Me:Mo would have a passion for all things hospitality, a love of food and a willingness to learn. Experience is not necessary but some time in an office environment and proven organisational skills are preferred. You will be working with our team of capable interns, account managers and account directors to deliver a creative and effective PR strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Manage and co-ordinate files for press accounts
  • Clip and share coverage in a timely, clear and concise manner
  • Take meeting minutes, write up and share with the client
  • Attend and assist the rest of the media team at events
  • Develop and keep in order all data pertaining to press and influencers
  • Develop knowledge of the media, influencer and hospitality industries and keep abreast of news
  • Willingness to begin developing media, influencer and industry contacts to leverage coverage

A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE: 

  • Experience working in an office environment and understanding of emails and word
  • Strong organisation skills, methodical and efficient and ability to make good decisions and be proactive
  • Proactive, creative and strategic mind
  • Strong writing skills
  • A passion for food and the hospitality industry
  • A willingness to learn and get stuck in

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

  • Competitive salary dependent on experience
  • Hybrid working from our Notting Hill office – Media Team work from the office every Monday, but we have flexible working throughout the week
  • 22 days annual leave, plus Bank Holidays and a Christmas office closure.
