Family Event

Winter Wonderland

Hyde Park, London

Hyde Park’s ‘Winter Wonderland’ is a free-to-enter family event, featuring Santa’s Grotto where children can get to meet Santa and get a small free gift, as well as a wide range of entertainment, including the UK’s largest outdoor skating rink, featuring a performance of world-class skaters in Paddington On Ice – The Grand Voyage, Christmas Circus, Cirque Berserk, fairground with rides for both young and older children, including a 45m long (148ft) ice-slide! Comedy Club, Mr Men and Little Miss – the show. Head skywards on the Giant Observation Wheel, where you can enjoy panoramic views of London. You could even create your own ice-sculpture, at the ice-sculpting workshop.

Here you’ll find a traditional German Christmas Market, (one of London’s largest), as well as the Angels Christmas Market where you’ll find unique gifts, and arts and crafts.

Try typical German fare in the Bavarian Village, and drink cocktails in Bar Ice, where even the furniture is made of ice! Then warm up at Fire Pit bar, with crackling fires and live music.
