An Eleven-Year Love Story Returns: Chez Antoinette Reopens in Covent Garden

Nov 13th 2025

An eleven-year love story returns to Covent Garden this November, as Chez Antoinette, the beloved family-run French restaurant co-owned by husband-and-wife duo Aurélia and Jean-Baptiste Noël-Delclos, reopened its doors on Monday 10th November following an elegant redesign and extension.

First opened by Aurélia in 2014, Chez Antoinette Covent Garden quickly became a local favourite, celebrated for its warmth, generosity, and unmistakable French charm. Now, more than a decade later, the couple unveil a reimagined space that embodies the art de vivre, the French art of living well. Blending the soul of a Lyonnais café with the elegance of a Parisian townhouse, the refreshed interiors feature soft fabrics, brass accents, and antique mirrors, creating a setting that feels both timeless and intimate. A new open kitchen and pâtisserie counter bring a sense of theatre and conviviality, inviting guests to watch the craft of French cooking unfold.

Reimagined as an all-day dining destination, Chez Antoinette now offers everything from breakfast pastries and light salads to evening aperitifs and classic French desserts. Each dish is personally curated by Aurélia and inspired by her grandmother Antoinette’s cherished recipes, a celebration of comfort, family, and authenticity.

With terrace seating overlooking the Market Piazza and an expanded dining room designed for long, lingering meals, Chez Antoinette once again takes its place at the heart of Covent Garden life, a space where locals, theatre-goers, and visitors gather to savour simple, heartfelt French food and the warmth of true hospitality.
