Eggslut Cracks Into Manchester With Its First UK Opening Outside Of London

Dec 8th 2025

Eggslut, London’s cult all-day breakfast spot, is officially landing in Manchester at the end of January 2026, finally answering years of requests from fans eager to see the brand expand beyond the capital. The new opening marks a major milestone for Eggslut as it brings its signature egg-centric menu to a brand-new audience.

Located in Centurion House on Deansgate, in the heart of the city, Eggslut Manchester will sit between two Manchester icons: the historic John Rylands Library and the Manchester Town Hall extension. The restaurant will offer its full menu of classics, keeping eggs at the centre of every dish, from the much-loved Bacon, Egg & Cheese to the Pork Romesco with crispy pork belly and romesco sauce, and the Fairfax, a soft brioche bun filled with soft scrambled eggs, caramelised onions, cheddar and sriracha mayo. Fans can also expect their social-media favourite Truffle Hash Browns.

Manchester will also be the first location outside London to serve one of Eggslut’s newest creations: French Toast Sticks, thick-cut brioche dipped in egg wash, fried until golden, dusted in cinnamon sugar and served with a maple custard.

Alongside its famous menu, Eggslut Manchester will serve a bespoke house coffee blend created by Kiss the Hippo, plus freshly squeezed orange juice, cold brews and matcha. Catering will also be available, offering miniature brioche “bun sliders” ideal for offices, meetings and events, a service that has seen growing demand in London and is now being brought north.

Eggslut first arrived in the UK at Taste of London in 2019 before opening its debut permanent site on Notting Hill’s Portobello Road. The brand has since expanded across the capital, opening in Shoreditch, Fitzrovia, Canary Wharf, Stratford and Liverpool Street, building a loyal following and cementing itself as a go-to breakfast and brunch destination.

Reflecting on the long-awaited move, Pedro Ribeiro, Eggslut’s Head of Ops, says:
“Manchester has been crying out for an Eggslut for so long, and we’re thrilled to finally make that dream a reality. The city’s energy, food culture and love of great breakfast make it the perfect place for our first expansion outside London.”

That enthusiasm is echoed by the team behind Centurion House. Matt Pazos, Bruntwood SciTech’s Retail Commercial Manager, adds:
“We’re excited to welcome Eggslut to Centurion House. The brand’s incredible food and strong identity make it a perfect fit for Deansgate and an exciting new addition for local workers, residents and visitors.”

The opening marks a significant step in Eggslut’s UK growth, with Manchester set to become a flagship location for the brand’s continued expansion.
