It’s that time of the week – your hot of the press round-up of our food PR coverage. The Me:Mo press team have been working across a number of exciting clients, generating some delicious coverage to share with the world. And now it’s time to share it with you.

This weekend, Japan Centre’s Ichiba, Europe’s largest Japanese food hall, marks its one year since opening with a spectacular weekend of birthday celebrations for all and everyone to enjoy. A food PR dream to promote, the weekend-long festival, from Saturday 20th – Sunday 21st July will be a vibrant celebration of all things Japanese, with a fabulous line up of activities and performances. Check out some of the juicy coverage:

We struck gold, with Timeout featuring the event both in their magazine and online. Evening Standard promoted the event in Thursday’s paper, another score for the Ichiba food PR dream team. Alongside a number of other listings sites and guides, Culture Whisper chose to include it in their weekend guide.

We’ve recently started working with a luxury gelato brand called Remeo who are proud to join the “war on plastic” by becoming the first ice-cream brand in the world to switch its packaging to 100% recyclable plastic. Remeo is showing love to Mother Earth, introducing the brand-new eco-chic jars brought to life with their creative campaign “I’m not a virgin.” The campaign encourages other brands to follow suit in their decision to abandon virgin plastic in favour of recycled & plant-based plastics. It’s these sorts of campaigns that make us proud to work in food PR and here are some bits of coverage we secured:

Online lifestyle magazine About Time included the gelato in their round-up of best products for the week! With the announcement that Remeo are now also stocked in Sainbury’s, we also secured some great trade coverage in Caterlyst and Food and Drink Industry News.

It’s been a long hot summer for us here at Me:Mo and it’s by no means over. See you next week for your next dose of Food PR news
