Following nearly four months of closure, we cannot wait to grab our loved ones and enjoy a very large glass of something for London restaurant reopenings, making our way to our most-missed spots across the City as quickly as we can from Monday onwards.

At Me:Mo HQ we’ve been dreaming of far-flung foodie destinations that make us go a little weak at the knees for far too long now. So, grab your pals, your golden ticket bookings, and be prepared to indulge those pandemic senses as we give you our absolute top London restaurant re-openings must-visit list.

#No. 1 – Galvin Bistrot

Hot of the press, but The Bistrot is back, bigger and better than before with a chic outdoor terrace thrown into the fresh new mix. Headed up by culinary heroes, brothers Chris and Jeff Galvin, the brand-new restaurant will be located right next door to famed Michelin-starred La Chapelle in London’s historic Spitalfields.  Formerly known as Galvin HOP, the new launch is the perfect example of how the pandemic has allowed a firm favourite to be re-born, with the main aim to provide a safe haven setting for family and friends to meet, whilst feasting on traditional French bistro dishes and top-quality wines and craft beers, without having to spend an arm and a leg while doing so. We know where we’ll be this spring!

35 Bishops Square, E1 6DY. For more information, visit galvinrestaurants.com

#No. 2 – Dishoom Kings Cross

This branch of Dishoom has to be our favourite and we’re so excited this one is among the London restaurants reopening on 12th April. Maybe it’s the expansive, Bombay railway café aesthetics, maybe it’s the friendly team who happily top you up with unlimited chai, or MAYBE it’s the alfresco seating, which is neatly tucked away off the hustle and bustle of busy Granary Square. We have no doubt that the alfresco terrace will be one of London’s most popular restaurant reopenings, so be prepared to duel for the final table. We highly recommend booking a breakfast slot and enjoying highlights such as their famous Bacon Naan Roll with a fried egg or Akuri – the Irani signature breakfast dish, scrambled eggs with a spicy twist is piled up with homemade buns and grilled tomatoes. Better still, request their famous chilli jam to go alongside and we guarantee a morning of happiness. We’ll race you there…

#No. 3 – Fiume

Now, for our final serving, we’ve got a firm favourite amongst South Londoners. This stunning riverside restaurant dishes out serious Italian grub with a menu that’s been designed by Francesco Mazzei – formerly of L’Anima, Sartoria and Radici – so you know you’re in very good hands. A restaurant reopening location to be envied, the name translates to river in Italian, with the sought-after location just next to Battersea Power Station and overlooking panoramic views of the River Thames, with the European style terrace that’s perfect for a glass of wine and antipasti. Other highlights include a Brunch Menu with dishes including Puglian burrata, watercress and torpedino tomato as well as firm favourite Aubergine parmigiana and a Roast by the River menu with Scottish crab, Welsh lamb ragout and Wild mushrooms and sausage thrown into the mix. We know where we’ll be pulling up to next Sunday!
