It has been a big month for restaurants, with indoor dining finally returning (hopefully for good!), and we been very busy spreading all of our wonderful restaurant news across London and beyond…

From new openings to re-openings, reimagining’s and reinventions, it has been an exciting month at the Me:Mo press office. First up, The Secret Sandwich Shop launched this week in the heart of Notting Hill. Nestled within the iconic Globe pub, the sandwiches are inspired by Japanese Wanpaku sandwiches which translates to ‘cheeky’ or ‘naughty’ and are piled high with some of the best traditional British flavours like egg salad, ham, cheese and tomato, between two soft and pillowy slices of Japanese Shokupan bread. From West to the City, there has been some exciting restaurant news over at Michelin starred restaurant City Social where Restaurant Associates have appointed Mark Hastings as the new GM of this popular Jason Atherton fine dining institute. Previously of Gordon Ramsay, Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, and Hakkasan Group, Mark will be leading the way for an unforgettable experience. Big Hospitality and Code Hospitality covered the news this week alongside City Social bar featuring in Esquire’s list of Best Bars in London.

For some more restaurant news in London, in the centre of town, Heddon Yokocho is back with all new Shuchu booths or focus booths, allowing diners to fully enjoy their ramen for a 360 experience. Over in Covent Garden, Sycamore Vino Cucina has finally opened its doors and is offering 50% off lunch and dinner to celebrate, as told by Hot Dinners.
