With the huge success of the Eat Out to Help Out scheme throughout the month of August, the Me:Mo press team was hard at work helping our clients with all of their Restaurant PR needs and securing extensive coverage across all channels.
The summer heatwave was rife, and we took the opportunity to showcase the best summer delights that our clients had to offer, including Apple Butter’s brand new takeaway picnic boxes, that were featured in Country and Townhouse’s roundup of London’s best luxury picnic hampers.
We were truly spoilt for choice with the amount of al fresco dining experiences across the capital, and our clients at The Melusine really hit the spot with their series of floating supper clubs hosted on board a pontoon in the middle of the iconic St. Katherine’s Dock. Covered here by Luxuriate Life, it promises to be a seafood spectacular, and is taking bookings until the end of September.
August also saw National Afternoon Tea Week, and we couldn’t think of anywhere more fitting to celebrate the nation’s favourite treat than with our friends down at Bafarat. We helped to host several influencer events at their soho site, which saw some London’s most illustrious influencers descend upon the stylishly sophisticated Middle-eastern themed patisserie to sample chef Thomas Alphonsine’s newly created Ultimate Afternoon Tea. (The Yuzu and Chocolate Bonbons were our favourite!)
As well as hosting several successful events, we teamed up with Out in London to offer two hugely popular competitions for our clients down at London Stock and Allyu. Their campaigns each saw hundreds of entrants, eager for a chance to win an exclusive epicurean giveaway.
Terrific top-tier coverage also came in the form of some great articles in The Caterer, on RA Venue’s newly agreed contract with Knebworth House; and Nick Harman’s lovely review of London Stock in Foodepedia.
With the Eat Out to Help Out scheme coming to an end, it is still an uncertain time for the Restaurant and Hospitality industry, however we remain determined to continue helping and supporting our clients with all their Restaurant PR requirements.
