ME:MO Clients Celebrate Christmas!

It’s finally December and that means all things Christmas are well and truly under way! If you haven’t already been scanning for where to head to celebrate the festive occasion, we’ve created a roundup with plenty of great options.

Cocotte

Chicken is the new turkey at Cocotte. Marinated in a secret sauce for 24 hours and roasted until the skin is golden and the meat tender and moist, Cocotte’s rotisserie chicken is sure to be a Christmas crowd favourite. They haven’t forgotten the all-important trimmings either. There might not be your typical roast potatoes or roasted root veg but there are some exciting jazzed up alternatives. To name a few, you can expect a luxurious Truffled Mash, Ratatouille and Truffled Mac and Cheese. Make sure to keep an eye for the Christmas Morrel sauce and save room for the Chocolate and Hazelnut tart. It wouldn’t be Christmas without chocolate would it?

Florentine

Need somewhere for Christmas Day? You’re in luck. Florentine’s £65 4–course Christmas Day menu will ensure that everyone’s feasting like a king and queen. There’s everything from King Crab Tartare to Smoked Duck Breast with Radicchio di Treviso and Braised Short Rib of Beef to Roasted Wild Sea Bass. Vegetarians can also look forward to a number of gorgeous veggie options. Push the boat out with a not-so-traditional Christmas starter of Jerusalem Artichoke with an earthy Truffle cream sauce or opt for a classic winter comfort – Pumpkin and Ginger Soup with crème fraiche. To top it off, there’s also a Christmas Pudding with Brandy custard on the dessert menu…

Thai Square

If you’re looking for a Christmas with Asian flavours, be prepared to be spoilt for choice at Thai Square. With a different menu at each location, not to mention a complimentary drink, we’re sure that everyone will have a joyful time! The focus this year is on Grill and Roast, but the chefs will be adding their special touch. Enjoy the Spatchcock Devil Poussin, a beautiful roast chicken with Thai herbs and sweet chilli jam, or the Mae Nua Tong, sirloin beef stir fried with garlic, coriander and black pepper in a special sauce and with a very celebratory finish of edible gold spray.

Other restaurants to keep an eye out for include tibits and Dum Biryani House. Dum Biryani House will be offering a 3-course menu like no other, whilst Christmas at tibits is fully vegetarian! Looking for an impressive alternative to a roast chicken, turkey or beef? Try tibits’ beet wellington!

Wishing everyone a very magical Christmas!
