Eggslut, the Los Angeles-born egg-led concept with a cult following, chose Manchester for its first UK regional opening after building momentum in London. Gritty, unapologetic and impossible to ignore, Manchester has built serious momentum of its own, emerging as a city that doesn’t follow London’s lead, but increasingly challenges it.
The objective was to establish immediate awareness and credibility in Manchester, driving footfall from week one and positioning the brand as an all-day destination rather than breakfast-led.
Targeted regional media outreach introduced the site ahead of launch, securing credible coverage across consumer and trade titles. A structured preview brought key press and creators into the space pre-opening, including Manchester Evening News, Confidentials and Secret Manchester, generating informed, first-hand reviews. Launch day activity extended into social, ensuring the opening travelled beyond the site itself.
The result was a regional debut that landed with impact, embedding Eggslut into Manchester’s dining landscape from the outset.
