Taverna Ermou, the celebrated Athens restaurant by ERGON, opened its first London outpost in Marylebone in March 2026, bringing its deeply rooted Greek culinary traditions and neighbourhood spirit to the capital. While ERGON has an established international presence, this marked the debut of the Taverna Ermou concept in London, positioning it as an authentic, experience-led dining destination within the city’s evolving Mediterranean food scene.
To support the launch, a targeted PR and influencer strategy was implemented to build awareness and drive early momentum. Media and creator outreach focused on introducing the restaurant’s story, from its Athens heritage to its ingredient-led menu and design-led space. Early visits from key tastemakers helped capture the atmosphere and showcase signature dishes, anchoring the brand within London’s food and lifestyle landscape.
The campaign reinforced Taverna Ermou’s positioning as a modern yet authentic Greek restaurant, centred around convivial dining and timeless hospitality. Within just over a week of launch, the activity generated 36 pieces of coverage, reaching a total audience of 6.75 million, alongside 746,000 estimated views, rapidly establishing the restaurant as one of London’s standout new openings.
The launch successfully translated the essence of Taverna Ermou’s Athens origins into a London context, creating strong initial visibility and laying the foundation for long-term brand presence in the UK market.
