Senza Fondo, an Italian American restaurant based in Hoxton, is built on generous hospitality, comfort-led food, and the belief that the table is where life happens. Founded by Joe Worthington, the restaurant draws inspiration from family, tradition, and long, shared meals, with lasagna at the heart of the menu and community at the heart of the brand. Known for its warm, lively atmosphere and unapologetically indulgent approach to dining, Senza Fondo has quickly become a neighbourhood favourite with a strong cultural identity.
MeMo began working with Senza Fondo in November 2025, supporting the brand across social strategy, content creation, and tone of voice development. The objective was to strengthen brand storytelling, increase engagement, and build a consistent, recognisable presence across digital platforms.
Operating in a crowded hospitality landscape, the challenge was to clearly articulate what makes Senza Fondo distinct: its Italian American identity, community-led ethos, and refusal to dilute its indulgent, feel-good approach. The brand needed to stand out without losing the warmth and authenticity that defined the in-restaurant experience.
MeMo’s approach focused on building a personality-led digital presence that mirrors the energy of the restaurant itself. Rather than chasing short-term trends, the strategy centred on establishing a clear tone of voice, defined content pillars, and founder- and team-led storytelling. This created a recognisable, culturally grounded brand presence designed to grow long-term engagement and reinforce Senza Fondo as more than a restaurant, but a place people return to.
